If i have a source of amp damage and am using a physical sunder would the ED version be better than the one that lowers phys resistance? It my understanding amp lowers by 100% and phy res cant be lower than that?

Been messing around with a5 merc using dreadfang. What would be the best use for the socket in the dreadfang. Dont need any ias because of fanat. He would probably wear coh/cure. Was thinking ber or new ancients jewel.
