Hi all,
This is my first Solterra and my first car with fancy features like automatic braking and cameras. I was in the middle of a standard commute home this afternoon - going about 55, about 3-4 car lengths behind another car. The car in front of me brakes suddenly and before I can personally respond with a normal amount of strong-but-not-tire-burning braking, my Solterra basically throws up the red collision warning and immediately STANDS on the brakes throwing me into the steering wheel, stopping several car lengths before I needed to, and narrowly avoiding causing an accident behind me. Thankfully I was close to my home offramp because I was SHOOK.
Anyone know what the hell caused this and if there is a setting I can disable to prevent it in the future? (Like the overzealous lane assist I already had to turn off?)
