Over the weekend my dog seems to have developed an issue with the inner corner of his eye, more on the snout that in his eye specifically but his fur in the inner corner of his snout (where it meets the eye) has gone and it looks rather pink / swollen in that area

Any idea what it could be or what I can do until I can get him in at a vet surgery?
