We are hiring a Claims & Carrier Support Specialist to manage shipping claims end-to-end with carriers like UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL.

This is an operations-focused role where persistence, organization, and follow-through are critical.

🎯 Your Goal

  • Recover money from lost/damaged shipments
  • Resolve issues quickly
  • Keep claims moving forward at all times

🔧 Key Responsibilities

📦 Claims Management

  • File claims with carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL)
  • Investigate shipment issues (lost, damaged, missing items, misdelivered)
  • Ensure all claims are submitted accurately and promptly

📞 Carrier Communication

  • Communicate with carriers via email
  • Provide required documentation:
    • Invoices
    • Photos
    • Shipment details
  • Handle cases where carriers cannot reach customers

🔁 Follow-Up & Escalation

  • Track all active claims and follow up consistently
  • Escalate cases when needed
  • Refile or reopen denied claims when applicable

📊 Tracking & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of:
    • Claim status (pending, approved, denied)
    • Payout amounts
    • Claim numbers and updates
  • Update internal systems (ClickUp)

🤝 Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with operations and support teams
  • Provide updates on claim progress
  • Ensure issues are resolved efficiently

🧠 Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple cases at once
  • Comfortable making phone calls when needed
  • Problem-solving mindset and persistence

  • Experience with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL)
  • Background in e-commerce, logistics, or 3PL
  • Experience using tools like ClickUp, Asana, or similar
  • Claims or dispute resolution experience
