Bout a 40 ft tall spruce
Removing all this rubber mulch and landscape fabric, was piled high around the trunk. Fabric was quite tight to the dirt you see here.
Do I take this earth back? Fill to current "high mark" ?
Some very large roots seem quite shallow, which I assume need to be covered. They were essentially just covered by landscape fabric and 6-8" of rubber mulch.
Worried about tree health and stability.
