TableTop Inventory Manager - Free character sheet with a grid-based Inventory

Hello all!

A long time ago i started working on a tool that would help specifically my players. Around the time that Zebashew made his grid inventory video, i had been fiddling with the idea myself in parallel thought. Initially, the goal was to give my players a visual limit on their weight capacity, and prevent them from forgetting its contents. It was really helpful, but it soon became apparent that the system had certain limitations in terms of realistically representing weight and size constraints. That was about a year and a half ago. It then went from journal entries, to having a dice roller, and from there it just made sense to build a simple character sheet, and by that time, i was already making plans.

This app has grown to solve every problem at my table; Someone lost their phone, or character, or need to buy the app AGAIN for the fourth time right at the table. We have both android and iphone users at the table, and i wanted them to only have to make one account, and carry it with them whatever they change too. And to stop buying it over and over. I know coming out with an app this late in the game will be challenging, and i wanted to think about the community in that too;

We have multiple games, and some use some '24 sets like exhaustion, or base healing. These can be toggled off, with a full ruleset switch coming soon.

So the thing that i think will be most helpful to players, is the content workshop. The idea was that using it, you can author an item, and have it mechanically reflect on your character sheet. A magic item that grants AC, That sets your strength to, increases your speed, or does all of that at the same time. You can make new spells, create and manage their components(enable component consumption rules in settings), you can make feats. Though i am the only one to have used it so far, you can use it to author new classes, subclasses, and even races. You can save all of this to a custom source file, and save it, export it, pass it around and share it.

There are some features i have gated, mostly ones that require data cost; mainly the Party System;

This is, on my end, was a headache reliever. With it, the whole party sees the basics — HP, AC, initiative, passive perception — and as DM you also see their saving throw bonuses at a glance, perfect for calling for a save without telegraphing the DC. You can create a loot list, and after a combat is over, push it to the party and allow each member to select the loot, placing it directly in their inventory; no authoring at the table or stopping the game to allow them a chance to spell things out with a pencil. You can setup vaults like banks to store items, and even link a party vault to pass items around quickly or trade.

You can use the party system to link player's calendars, and as time passes, in app events will fire, like the downtime system! Or if you are feeling spicy, the Bastion System.

While not initially in '14, i have converted its functionality to suit my tables needs. Though its not a perfect representation of the system, I do think it is improved on the base, and you can choose to enable more advanced options for it that are custom. When i made this system, i was most excited about using the inventory grid to place the facilities in a layout. This has been a lot of fun, and the party enjoyed optimizing and imagining the actual structure. So much so that i came up with Party Bastions, which is basically a combination of # of players and individual bastion limits combined, allowing more facilities and grid space.

You can do all sorts of other things too; You can make and push shops, you can craft and set the rules to use, you can add custom images to items or add a character portrait, Journal entries and custom roll tables, the list goes on! Honestly i feel like if i talk about it anymore no one will go explore the welcome page! https://tabletopinventory.vercel.app/welcome

Quick Note: This is my first app as a solo developer. I don't know what im doing, in terms of releasing this into the wild. I hope that this pricing structure will not have to change, not to step outside of humble, but i don't know what to expect in terms of user data over purchase. In that respect, handling your character's data is first done locally. As I get better metrics vs. cost, I can figure out the impact of things like pushing custom source books to players directly in the app.

Oh! Did i forget to mention you get the character sheet for free?! Yep. Don't even have to purchase to use it.

The only thing this app does not do, is simulate and track combat. Since this app was made to be used at the table by our group, it seemed redundant. But is one of the first things I plan on tackling. You can view the full roadmap and plans, as ambitious as they are here: https://tabletopinventory.vercel.app/roadmap

This app is supported on all devices currently through the browser, and you can install it directly to your home screen. If you would like to help support the native android release, I need testers to sign up during the 14day upload period: https://groups.google.com/g/ttitesters

P.S. With this app you can generate items and character portraits based on their description and character details(though you can edit them). You are granted 100 tokens with a purchase, just as a thank you. If you would like to support me, and still feel like you're getting something from it, you can purchase token packs. They use image generations capable of high end computers, but not the kind eating up the ocean. If this is still disagreeable to you, but for some reason still wish to support me, you could always buy me a cup of coffee!

Also, literally the last thing i did was add the tutorials! I'm already working on improving them for you <3

I'll be here lurking to help with anything, or any requests. Drop me a line at: silocongames@gmail.com

You are welcome to offer advice or critique, and I appreciate all the time you took to read all of this!
