Hello,

Is anyone here studying in the English-taught Master's program in Applied Genetics at Iliauni, or do you have any information about it? If so, I’d love for you to share your experience.

I have a Bachelor's degree in CS and Mathematics, and I’m looking for a high-quality program in Georgia that focuses on the intersection of these fields with biology. I want to do my Master's in Georgia first because I don't have a strong academic background, my GPA is average and I haven't conducted any research yet, so I likely wouldn't stand a chance at a top university abroad for a Master's right now.

Regarding this specific program, I’m interested in how research-based it is and how well it would prepare me to pursue a PhD abroad in the future. I’m also open to advice on other universities and programs, as I’m still in the process of choosing.

ვინმე ხომ არ სწავლობთ ილიაუნის სამაგისტრო Applied Genetics-ის ინგლისურენოვან ფაკულტეტზე ან რამე ინფო ხომ არ გაქვთ? თუ კი, თქვენი გამოცდილება რომ გამიზიაროთ. CS-ისა და მათემატიკის ბაკალავრი მაქვს და მაგ სფეროების ბიოლოგიასთან თანაკვეთით მინდა რამე კარგი ფაკულტეტი საქართველოში (საქართველოში მინდა ჯერ მაგისტრატურა, რადგან არ მაქვს კარგი აკადემიური ბექგრაუნდი, საშუალო GPA მაქვს და კვლევებიც არ ჩამიტარებია, ამიტომ დიდი ალბათობით არ მაქვს შანსი საზღვარგარეთ ტოპ უნიში მაგისტრატურაზე). ამ ფაკულტეტზე მაინტერესებს, რამდენად research based-ია და მომავალში საზღვარგარეთ PhD-ზე გაგრძელების საშუალებას რამდენად მომცემს.

ასევე მივიღებდი რჩევებს სხვა უნივერსიტეტებზე და ფაკულტეტებზე, ჯერ მაინც არჩევის პროცესში ვარ.
