Hi all,

I got diagnosed coeliac earlier this year. I knew nothing about coeliac disease before my diagnosis so have learned a hell of a lot about the disease in a short space of time.

I’m travelling to Hong Kong later this year and am concerned about finding coeliac-safe food/restaurants while I’m out there. When I was out there last year, I don’t remember seeing anything resembling allergen info & neither does my friend (a native Hong Konger), so she’s now also worried about my food situation.

Does anyone have any tips for coeliacs in Hong Kong? I understand that a lot of my favourite foods are now no-gos but wanted to ask if anyone knows of some good GF restaurants/shops or has any tips for travelling there?

(For reference, I spend most of my time in Hong Kong Island & occasionally Mong Kok. Most of my time is spent around North Point, Causeway Bay, Quarry Bay & Central). Happy to travel for some good GF food though☺️

Thanks🙏🏻
