will my current visa suffice until my new visa is granted for my new degree?
Hey all!. I'm an int student in my last semester of my bachelor's degree, and I've gotten an offer for my new master's degree, conditional on my final academic transcript. Now my current student visa ends on 30 aug and the master's semester 1 starts on 27 of july.
Now I have an issue with timelines, causing a bottleneck. Result publication date from my old bachelor's uni is 9 July, that leaves 18 days to 1) accept offer letter, 2) uni gets back with CO, E 3) apply for visa, 4) get my visa
Now, even if I have everything ready and have a fast turnover on my end, it will likely extend well into the start of the new degree. If anyone has experienced anything similar, what can I really do in this situation?
Start uni with my old visa since it lasts till aug 30, new visa should be done by then
ask the new uni to let me accept my offer without a final transcript, etc., and apply early
anything else I can do
If none of these work, ig i can look into other options (likely get on a grad visa), but I would like to get my master's done before that. Thanks for any suggestions
