Hello everyone. I bought an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 12 SE (2024). The firmware version out of the box is 5.17. I bought it knowing I would jailbreak it immediately. Could you please tell me if I should update to the latest version supported by the AdBreak jailbreak, 5.18.5.0.1? Is 5.18.5.0.1 more stable than 5.17?
Hello everyone. I was sold a stolen Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 12 SE. It's my first book, and I didn't know this happened. The seller refuses to take the book back or refund my money, and overall, he turned out to be a very dishonest person, blaming me for everything. At first, I couldn't understand why I couldn't register for the out-of-the-box version 5.17.1.0.4. On the Amazon forum, they advised me to update to the latest version 5.19.3.0.1. Only then, during registration, did a window pop up stating that the device had been reported as lost or stolen. This is very frustrating. I tried downloading books using Calibre and converting them to azw3 format, but when I open the downloaded book on my device, the screen is white, and the book is unreadable. Could someone please tell me how to download books?
