If the TPU has no haters I am dead.
For some context I cannot drive I make little money and the lowest lesson wise would cost £300 a month so unfortunately I rely on public transport. The quickest way for me to get to work is the train as I work in the town over from me (only job I can find rn) unfortunately I work weekends and the past year the TPU has regularly shut down the train station I use to get to work which I know they have to in order to upgrade everything and most people don’t work weekends so it makes sense. But it pisses me off to no end as it leaves me with little choices to get to work. Either I get the rail replacement bus which arrives later meaning I miss my bus and have to uber the rest of the way making my £4 trip (train) to nearly double/ triple. Or I get the bus which I can do but it’s almost 2 hours instead of my 25 minute train journey plus bus. Or I pay for a taxi/uber which could easily be £20/£30+. Every time I go to buy a ticket and see rail replacement bus I am filled with indescribable rage. TPU I will see you in hell.
