IIT Bombay Disasterclass
Arrived at IIT Bombay for PhD interview. Everyone had to wait atleast 4 hours in line to get a room. Even after getting it, they told it has to be cleaned.
We boys had to wait in that waiting hall and were called twice to line up for rooms only to send us back again to the hall.
Many guys got to know their hostels were changed at the last moment without any intimation.
Most importantly (chutiya mat bolo, gender diversity mat bolo), hum boys ko hi suffer karna pada.
They know that 200+ people are going to visit, but they didn't care to add more people in the management.
The process was too slow. They should hire some Genz people and use some technology to speed up the process. All details were taken and were noted down by hand. I respect old gen people but they do these type of things very very very slow.
At this point give us a 10×10 matrix with first 100 prime numbers and tell us to find eigenvectors and eigenvalues by hand without calculator. Those who complete it should be given rooms.
A whole day wasted. Couldn't revise anything.
