[Florida, USA]
I went to talk to my property manager about an issue [I ended up yelling fix "fix the f*ing issue"] because they were trying to fight me, rather then saying they'd fix it. While standing still 6+ feet from the manager, the receptionist came up and stood very close to me, and started screaming at me for yelling at the manager, I told her to shut the f* up and went back to repeating "fix the fucking issue"
One of the handymen came into the building while I was yelling at them to fix the f* issue [as my reply to everything they said because they kept making excuses or trying to avoid the issue]. He then stormed up and got 3 inches from my face screaming at me, I told him to get out of my face, he said no, "if I was yelling at them he was going to be in my face [paraphrased]", and told me to "get out", I was in the [management office], I disengage to de-escalate, and step back and out of the room into the lobby.
He follows me, again 3 inches from my face, and says I have 5 seconds to get out of the building or he's going to "put me out" and that the cops are on the way. I told him "No, you're not" [as in, dont put hands on me], and again, step back. He stands there silently for 5 seconds before violently grabbing me (palms both of my shoulders and grips into me), and then starts shoving me towards the door, causing me to stumble as he shoves me out of it.
In Florida my understanding is, they're allowed to use reasonable force to escort you if they ask and "give you reasonable time..." and you don't comply? But I also pay rent, and it's a space open to the general public.
TLDR; Is a 5 second ultimatum in the middle of an argument, after I just moved farther away from them in an attempt to de-escalate, enough "reasonable time" before forcefully grabbing someone with and shoving them out of the building
I should clarify; My dog was bleeding because they didn't fix a safety issue for 7 months. That's why I came in hot, I told them multiple times across 7 months to fix an issue, then my dog started bleeding because it it, they were told my dog was bleeding, and they said "you have a loud motorcycle and car (I have a stock MC and I drive an EV)." and ignored the fact my dog is bleeding on the floor.
Also saying "f*ing" is just normal for anyone under 30... It's how we talk. Also military... This is a military town, and 90% of the residents are military, I'm former military, I'm not using swears to scare people, I just use swears.
