Small win but I'm proud of it.
2 months ago I shipped my first ever Chrome extension.
Today it hit 164 installs. Completely organic. No ads. No budget. Just Reddit posts.
What the extension does:
Skool shows members, admins and price publicly on every community page.
But nobody calculates the revenue for you.
So I built a tool that does it automatically.
Visit any Skool community → estimated monthly revenue appears instantly as a badge on the page.
Some numbers I've seen:
- 6,300 × $49 = ~$307k/month 🤯
- 182 × $199 = ~$35k/month
What I learned getting to 164 installs:
→ Reddit is the best free acquisition channel
→ Images in posts 3x the views
→ "Time saved" angle converts better than
"data" angle
→ Consistency beats virality
Still a long way to go but 164 real users using something I built feels amazing.
100% free. No signup. No data collected.
