Last summer we worked on the roof above the shed at the back. We had to re-lath it, which meant removing the slate sheets, cutting a few of them here and there, and putting them back up. It took about 5–6 hours outdoors. I’m not a construction worker—this was a one-time thing—but now I’ve read how harmful it can be and that it can cause cancer. Do I have reason to worry in this case?
