So. ADHD medication, and sleep…
Currently, I am fully diagnosed, combined type.
Fully completed titration and have settled on Concerta 54mg on a morning and then 2x5mg Medikinet in the afternoon as a booster.
This aids my ADHD.
On top of this, to counteract my anxiety, I am 3x100mg Pregabalin 3 times a day.
(Also, Lansoprazole for my heartburn, but that’s totally unrelated).
Then I have a prescription for MC, also for my anxiety, insomnia, and ADHD.
One of the only problems I have is, I can get to sleep, I either can’t stay asleep, or worse, asleep… but not really? Asleep in body, but brain still whirring.
Before I was medicated, I bought Melatonin for sleep. But that’s not sustainable at the prices these days. Not only that, I was taking 20-40mg of Melatonin a night, and they don’t prescribe that.
My question. What medication is best for sleep? I’ve heard of a higher dose of pregab for the last dose, zoplicone and other stuff.
But I want real experiences.
For me, it has to be strong enough ti knock me out, so that my brain doesn’t exhaust itself, or even worse, sometimes nightmares. If I’m not in a deep enough sleep, that is.
Any ideas? I basically need knocking out for 8 hours, without my brain being able to fully fire my whole body up, or just itself. Because this constant exhaustion isn’t fun anymore.
