Hi I got diagnosed in 2021 with tiny amounts of endo. Below I’ve described my experience but overall my questions are : Is it normal to have weeks of brown bleeding while on the combo pill? Especially if they are extending the amount of pills you take? What questions do I ask my gyno?
I got put on the combo pill last year and was doing 2 packs then 4 day break. Then they wanted me to go to 3 packs then 4 day break.
The first time I tried to do 3 packs, I ended up having to start my placebo pills a month early as I ended up bleeding after starting the last pack and was in a lot of pain. So period March 5th - 16th, with like 3 days of brown blood then bright/light pink and back to brown for the last couple days.
Saw my gyno and she said to do 4 packs then the break. I started 1/4 in March, 2/4 in April then I started brown bleeding again on April 26th with horrible stomach aches and upset stomach. Now it’s May 7th and I am still having mostly brown blood with red blood that occurs when I have a bowl movement. It’ll be light in the morning then get heavy as the day goes.
I message my gyno about it but I just don’t know what’s going on and I’m so tired of this. Having to spend so much money on pads and trying to figure out what to wear to be comfortable, what’s making my stomach hurt. I’ve lived with a horrible heavy period since 4th grade so I feel crazy that I’m complaining over some light/medium bleeding
