I want to make a post with a video. I want users to see the first frame of the video as they scroll through reddit. Possible? I placed the video at the beginning of my post but that didnt work; as I scroll through posts, I see the text and I dont see the video (until I click on the post)

Some viewers didn't like my first post for a couple of reasons so here is v2. I'm hoping this version is better for our viewers. We'll see. If not, then at least I tried.
I made elevated planters for my wife. There are 11 of them and 3 different sizes. Large-deep are for long-root vegetables like carrots. Large-shallow are for herbs and peppers. Small-shallow are for salvia (to attract humming birds). The planters were designed to fill our available space. The space has the large planters around the perimeter, while the 4 small planters are in the center and are as close as we could get them. The space is closed on 3 sides, open on one. The path through the planters is a loop with large planters on the outside of the loop and small ones on the inside of the loop. This offers just enough room to move through the array of planters.
The planter build pics that I have had filenames/descriptions that may help you follow along in the slide deck
01 Rip 6x6 beams into 3x3 legs, rip 1x6s into side rails
02 Rough-cut the parts to length, identify the parts to stave off inevitable confusion
03 Mark notches into legs for the side rails
04 Adjust router table for the 1in x 1in notch
05 Score the in- and out-feed pts to prevent wood tear-out
06 Legs are notched for the side rails
07 Router table sawdust after notching the legs
08 Router table leaves a tiny rounds, removed by hand with a chisel
09 Made a side rail template for consistent pilot holes
10 Side rails are glued (weather resistant) & screwed onto the legs
11 Assemble bottom pan supports using wood biscuits, glue & screws
12 Install the bottom pan supports
14 Cut & Install galv metal bottom & sides
15 Drain holes & post caps
16 1in of gravel and landscape fabric
17 Final Construction step - organic garden soil
The (4) polycarbonate lids are for off-season growing. They are made out of a 1/4"x4x8 sheet of corrugated polycarbonate. The edges are glued with a suitable acrylic glue. They are held in place with stainless pins, and can be removed/installed in minutes.
These planters are now a couple years old. They are a nice weathered cedar color and have held up to the elements. The whole family enjoys them and the corresponding yeild.
