Hermès may have just released the prettiest color of 2026, and I’m trying to decide if I love it or if it’s too sweet.
I usually gravitate toward neutrals.
Gold, etoupe, black, craie… the colors I know I’ll still love ten years from now.
Then I saw this new 2026 shade: X0, a soft cotton-candy purple.
And now I can’t stop thinking about it.
It’s pale, powdery, and just muted enough to avoid looking childish.
Depending on the light, it shifts between lavender, blush, and the faintest hint of gray.
Part of me thinks it’s one of the prettiest colors Hermès has released in years.
The other part of me wonders whether I’d still love it once the novelty wears off.
That said, seeing it on smaller bags and accessories makes it incredibly tempting.
It feels playful, but still elegant.
Fresh, but not loud.
So now I’m curious:
Is this the kind of color you’d actually wear, or is it the sort of shade you admire from afar?
