Hi all. I made a post a few hours ago, about how I just got diagnosed with CHS Monday night. I haven’t smoked or ingested any tree since. I was at the hospital Monday night and the morning of today. When I left I felt great. But now it’s 9:30pm all I could stomach for dinner around 5:00 was half a bowl of soup/broth and I’m even vomiting that up. (It isn’t as bad as I’ve had it beforeI’ll admit) but I’m a baby when it comes to pain. I’m having slight abdominal pain on my upper right side, I’ve been constipated for day 3? I just tried an enema insertion and have had a small bit of relief but barely anything. Around the same time I quit using. Every episode prior to Monday have always been bright and early in the morning and stopped around the evening but now it seems it just gets worse or comes back the later it gets. I’m contemplating going back to the hospital because I’m so uncomfortable and that has been my only relief so far. I’ve taken 7 hot showers today. I’ve drank as much water, Gatorade as I can stomach, but it comes back up. Should I go back to the ER? I almost feel I should be admitted for a couple days until I’m hydrated and the worst of it subsides… my labs and ekg, cat scan all came back completely normal. I just can’t do anything. I can’t even lay down or sit still. What would you guys recommend? Should I go back in? Can I even ask to be hospitalized? Any advice would help ): I’ve never dealt with anything like this before.

Hello! I’m new to the sub. I JUST got diagnosed with CHS Monday after being told countless times it might be an ulcer, ibs, ect. I stopped my weed intake immediately. I’ve been sober since Monday. (Not long I know if I had been diagnosed sooner I would’ve stopped immediately.) it first started in November literally the day after thanksgiving. It lasted two weeks and went away for about 3? Ish months. I was taking edibles in heavy high amounts daily, along with smoking (I have a high tolerance) after the ER Monday I felt amazing Tuesday I was like bouncing off the walls lol now today I’m back in the ER because I cant even hold down water. I was given zofran and fluids which helped a decent amount considering this episode wasn’t nearly as bad as Monday. Monday took me out a whole 24 hours of vomiting. Does anyone have an idea of when the random episodes stop after quitting???? It’s gotten so bad I’m scared to go sleep because I know when I wake up there’s a 90% chance my whole day will be stolen due to this. How long did it take to completely resolve after quitting for yall? 🥹
