The drama is over. Stop harassing others

I know no one's gonna read all this because it's longer than their life. this is the internet. Some of you will agree, some of you won’t, and honestly I’m fine with that

I’ve seen way too many posts and screenshots of people joining Ren’s server just to annoy her. At this point, it’s getting old. Yes, the situation was serious. Everyone and their mother knows what happened. Yes, people have strong opinions. Yes, a lot of people are pissed off. That still does not make it okay to harass her nonstop like that.

People argue, pick sides, make videos, write essays longer than their school assignments. It happened. it’s done.

What Ren did was wrong. Accusing someone of serious thing publicly without proper proof is not some small mistake. That kind of thing can absolutely destroy somebody’s reputation and their life. People are mad for a reason. Nobody’s saying people aren’t allowed to criticize her. But some of y’all are taking this shit way too far now.

Going into her server just to spam her, harass her, bait her into reacting, trying to humiliate her 24/7… What exactly is the goal anymore? Genuinely. What does it make you? A hero?

She already got backlash. Massive backlash. The internet already made its decision. Zeal came back, the game is back, everyone celebrated, cool. So why are people still camping in her discord server acting like middle school bullies who discovered trolling for the first time? You’re not detectives. You’re not superheroes. You’re random people behind screens farming reactions because the drama gives you dopamine.

Her reputation is damaged, but yours is NOT, so quit ruining it.

And let me be clear: this is not me supporting ren (I do not support her, you can clearly tell by my posts). It’s not me excusing what happened, and it’s definitely not me saying people should just forget everything and move on like nothing happened. What I am saying is that being rude, malicious, and obsessive about it helps absolutely nobody. It just keeps the whole thing alive longer and makes the community look worse.

If someone was wrong, let them deal with the consequences. If someone was hurt, let them deal with that properly too. But jumping into servers and spamming dumb shit like 'address the elephant' every five minutes is not some big moral victory. It’s childish. it’s annoying. And it does not make anyone look smart.

The truth is, the situation is already out there. People have seen what they’ve seen, heard what they’ve heard, and made up their minds. At this point, dragging it out every single day is just turning the whole thing into a circus. And nobody needs that. Not Ren, not Zeal, not the community, and definitely not the people who are pretending they are 'just asking questions' while acting like jerks

If she’s unstable, mentally ill, emotionally immature, whatever the case is, then constant harassment from thousands of terminally online people is not magically gonna fix her. It’s probably gonna make her worse. And then when something bad happens everybody suddenly acts shocked and says 'omg noooo, mental health matters.'

So here’s my take: stop going into her server just to stir shit up. Stop spamming. Stop being weird. Say what you need to say once, and then leave it alone. If you don’t like her, Fine. If you don’t trust her, Fine. I understand, but there is a difference between having an opinion and being a nuisance.

We got game back, it is still there. At some point, people need to stop living in the drama and actually enjoy the thing they came for in the first place. Because right now, all this extra bullshit is dragging everyone down for no reason.

You can support zeal without becoming nasty human beings.

You can disagree with ren without dehumanizing her.

You can believe someone is wrong without turning cruelty into a community event.

Because at the end of the day, none of us truly know these people personally. This community was built around enjoying a game, supporting creators, having fun, making friends, and not for this.

Be better than this community’s worst moments, not another reason people are ashamed of it.

Is Wil’s doc worth reading? Does it change anything?

My answer is no.

I read it and damn, it was one of the most useless things I’ve ever wasted my time on. I almost started crying halfway through. I barely even knew who this person was. Apparently they were one of the lead writers for Pressure or whatever. Cool.

The entire document basically tries to paint Zeal as some evil harasser, but half the 'evidence' is literally screenshots of roleplay messages like 'kicks you', 'pets you', or dumb stuff like that. I’m sorry, but are we seriously calling that harassment now? Through a screen? At that point you might as well say someone saying 'punches you' on Roblox is attempted murder.

You have to separate online jokes from real life, real-world behavior. Do you physically feel Discord roleplay actions happening to you? If your nervous system genuinely processes Discord roleplay as a real physical event, I don’t think Zeal is the biggest issue here.

That’s why I almost stopped reading it, because it just felt embarrassing to sit through... It became difficult to take it seriously. At least it was shorter than Ren’s novel-length fanfiction about her 'trauma.'

Now to be fair, there WERE a couple things that sounded actually valid.

Wil -> "At RDC, he did not attempt to do this but he did randomly/roughly ruffle my hair at Dave n' Busters. Not inherently malicious, but kind of gross because he'd been touching the arcade machines all night. It feels like he was testing a boundary, as I am not someone that enjoys being touched in any capacity. I stated this a month prior in a server we used to coordinate hangouts, where we both shared our preferences for physical contact."

Yeah, if somebody touches you and you don’t like it, that’s uncomfortable. Fair enough.

But, did you SAY anything?

Because according to the document, Wil apparently told a Discord server a month earlier that they dislike physical contact. Okay. But humans are not telepathic. If someone ruffles your hair once, twice or whatever and you hate it, use your mouth and tell them to stop. Set boundaries directly. Block them. Stop hanging around them. Normal people communicate boundaries directly instead of silently building a criminal case in their head.

Another Wil's message -> "He would also never refer to me by any pronouns besides 'she/her', even when I made it apparent that I went by any. He would constantly refer to me as a girl. I didn't completely mind, because it was still something I vaguely identified as, but the specific word felt demeaning. Like he saw me as a plaything... i told him that i went by any/all prounouns."

Wil says they go by “any/all pronouns” but also says Zeal using she/her was demeaning and upsetting.

Alright. Let me get this straight. If you openly say 'I go by any pronouns' people are obviously going to use whatever comes naturally to them. You cannot hand people every option possible and then act shocked when they pick one of the options YOU approved. If there was a preferred set of pronouns, then say that.

People want to be INCLUDED into drama so badly that they’ll write entire Google Docs about their 'trauma'. Half of this reads less like evidence and more like fanfiction written by people who desperately want to frame themselves as victims in situations that are often just uncomfortable or awkward.

Not every uncomfortable interaction is abuse. Not every socially awkward person is secretly some manipulative predator. Sometimes people are just weird, bad at communication, or misunderstand each other. Turning every unpleasant experience into a Google Doc 'trauma archive' helps nobody.

Wil will stop talking to Zeal because the situation made them uncomfortable and they no longer feel safe continuing contact. And honestly, that part makes sense. If someone feels uncomfortable in an interaction, the simplest solution is to remove yourself from it.

I wrote this because I was tired of seeing people jump to conclusions and attack Zeal without actually looking at the facts. Ren's doc was missing some super important context and evidence, right? Yet everyone's rushing to take sides like their lives depend on it.

I posted this to let others know that this wasn't sexual assault or anything like that, Zeal didn't sa or raped Ren
