So for anyone else having this issue I wanted to make it easy to find out how to stop it.
When your watch starts sending SOS notifications to your emergency contacts it’s easy to stop it once you know where it is. On the home face of your watch you’re going to swipe up to find where it gives you the date and clock and a bunch of tabs. From there, it should be the second tab that says SOS location. At this point you can hit stop.
It will continue sending updates until you do this. My watch accidentally activated yesterday while I was riding my motorcycle and continued to send into this morning. Had my family worried for no reason.
I believe this would be the same if it was activated via crash detection.
