Hey everyone, I’m starting aviation maintenance school soon to work toward my A&P, and honestly I’m excited but also a little nervous. I wanted to ask people already in the field or currently in school: • What should I realistically expect during the program? • How difficult is the studying and workload? • What subjects usually give people the hardest time? • Did you work while in school, or is it too overwhelming? • Any advice you wish you knew before starting?

I’m especially curious about how hands-on the training is compared to classroom studying. I learn better by doing things, so I’m hoping that helps.

Also, how stressful are the FAA exams and oral/practical portions? Any study tips would really help.
