I grew up loving to purchase a concert ticket in the 80s. You received a printed ticket in my hand (that you later pinned to you peg board)! No apps, registering with logins/spam, barcodes and BS!

I am doing a teaching English stint in Spain, so I decided to buy Bad Bunny concert tickets for my niece and I, she is coming to Spain for the summer university program. It has been such a horrible experience to buy these tickets. First of all, I wanted NOTHING to do with Ticketmaster as I have had the worst experiences with them in the past, they ruined concerts for me over and over again in the USA.

I purchased the tickets in January through Vivid seats, thinking this had nothing to do with TM. Over the months I checked and I never saw or found an email that showed they were "delivered" so I could accept them. It's now early May the concert is May 31 and I have spent nearly the last few weeks trying to find where the email is. I finally found an email from Vivid that said to search under "Ticketmaster, transfer, the venue" something like that. My heart sank when I saw TM, then I did a search under TM and nothing was coming up. After weeks of trying to get a hold of customer support through Vivid, of course no one responds and I have spent countless hours on this, nothing was working. I finally found the email in Spanish from Ticketmaster Spain that showed my tickets needed to be transferred and accepted, all in Spanish!!! I also needed to create a TM account AGAIN.

So any search term I used in English which is what they sent me to search on was not working at all. Over months! It was a miracle that I was finally able to find the email after months and that was today.

The T&Cs are unacceptable; it gives TM the complete out if you get scammed which you won't know until the day of the concert. I am disputing the charge with my cc company based on this BS that I cannot accept those T&C's. One line says in the T&C's "you must know and trust the person you are accepting the transfer from." And "You agree that Ticketmaster is not liable to you in any circumstance." Of course, I do not know or trust the person, I have no idea who this person is??

What are my rights to refuse the T&Cs?? I was led to believe the transfer was coming from Vivid seats not an individual's name. This is a forced monopoly and bad consumer rights T&Cs, nothing about this is near pro-consumer. Every aspect of the consumer experience was misleading!

As consumers we need some protection and rights, these T&C's are the worst I have ever seen. I took a screenshot but images aren't allowed here, if any lawyer can review this, please contact me. This is outright illegal, unbalanced T&C"s. I do want to contact a lawyer, but I believe it will have to be in Spain.

Also, callout to #artists #badbunny out there to please start protesting Ticketmaster! #ticketmastersucks
