I'm a dual citizen and am currently creating an ECFMG account on Intealth, but I'm unsure which passport to upload. Does it matter, or do I have to upload the passport I'll be entering the States with?

I want to do all 3 exams (MCCQE + Step 1 and 2) but am a bit stuck on perfect timing for each. I have two periods during my upcoming academic year where I can do exams (fall and spring). I was originally planning on piggybacking step 2 and MCCQE as they're similar, but may be looking at a closer Step 1 and QE1 timeline.
I'm currently contemplating doing Step 1 in August/September, and doing MCCQE at the latest October period (20th/21st). Step 2 would be delayed to around May 2027, as I have national exams in my current country of study from November to February 2027 that cannot overlap with international exams. I thought of doing both Step 2 and MCCQE in the fall and delaying step 1 to the spring, but everyone voted against doing step 2 first to maximize my score.
Is the time period between Step 1 and MCCQE feasible, or will I be short on time and be forced to delay MCCQE to 2027? I did a step 2 NBME which was 62% and representative of my clinical foundation.
NAC OSCE will be Fall 2027
I've done absolutely no step 1 or 2 prep except for solving pregnancy questions on uWorld
For step 1, I did NBME 20 and scored 42%. I did better in my first two blocks (48, 46%), but got exhausted and scored 36 and 38% in the last two blocks.
For step 2, I did a very old NBME 6 and scored 62.5%. Not sure if I should do a newer one to be more representative, but I didn't want to waste an exam when I haven't studied any step-specific content, just pure knowledge.
So this tells me I got a long-ish way to go, but I'm confident I've recognized my knowledge gaps and can bump up my score with a few weeks of dedicated. My question is what would a timeline look with these NBME scores? I'm trying to time both Step 1, 2, and MCCQE as I'm a Canadian IMG. I was considering doing step 2 and MCCQE first to get two exams over with ASAP-- but this step 1 score is convincing me to build a better foundation first.

I’m a Canadian IMG planning my exam timeline and would appreciate advice. I finish my MBBS course in June 2026, and have a one-year mandatory internship year until July 2027 to receive my diploma.
- From July to Nov 2026 I have a fully dedicated exam period (internship rotations are very light)
- From Dec 2026 to Mar 2027 I can't take any exams due to a heavier internship load, and from April 2027 onwards I can plan exams
I'm planning to do MCCQE, Steps, + a national exam (easier than QE1, only needs one month of prep). NAC planned for Fall 2027
Option 1:
- July–Nov: Step 2 CK + QE1 + national exam
- Spring/Summer 2027: Step 1
Option 2:
- July–Nov: Step 1 + national exam
- Spring/Summer: Step 2 CK + QE1
Is it better to prioritize Step 2 + QE1 first, or get Step 1 out of the way early since I'll be fresh out of university and have more free time?
Would really appreciate insight 🙏
