I finally got my report and saw the reasoning given for lcw, the conclusion given was “The condition history and mental state examination indicates that there would be substantial mental or physical risk if the client were found capable of work (LCW). However they may be able to some appropriately tailored work related activity because he is opening all of his letters and deals with the correspondence independently and unprompted. He orders his own food and will make meals independently and unprompted”.

I told them during the assessment call I buy cheap ready meals/microwave I dont cook. But regardless is this normal reasoning for an LCW decision? Just feels contradictory to me
