Curious if anyone else is seeing the same thing or if there’s a way to avoid it.

I’ve been noticing this a lot with political commentary videos lately (including Adam Mockler’s). I like the content and listen pretty regularly, but the ads have gotten really bad. I’m consistently getting very explicit male enhancement ads—stuff where someone is going into detail about sexual performance or talking about how much better their partner is now.

That’s not something I can have playing when I’m listening with my family, and it completely kills the experience. It goes from normal content to something I have to scramble to mute or skip.

I get that creators don’t fully control which ads get served, but this is happening often enough that it feels like something’s off with how ads are being targeted on this type of content.

At this point, if it keeps happening, I’ll probably stop watching altogether—which is frustrating because I do enjoy the content otherwise.
