(Part 2) Almost complete paternal family-tree, just one more relative to go
I’ve almost completed the paternal half of my family tree up to my great-great-great grandparents. There’s just one loose-end
Yes it’s that Melvin P Jaragoski guy. He’s almost a complete ghost on every ancestry website I could find. Here’s the information I have about him that I’m pretty sure is correct:
-He was born in Fond Du Lac, WI on 1904-10-09
-He was present in the 1920 census, so he lived to be at least 16
-He probably wasn’t estranged, because his brother Sylvester named his kid after him (lived ~1947-1976)
-He isn’t mentioned as surviving anyone on their obituary. He’s not even mentioned in Sylvester’s Obituary (died 1989). This implies that he died before 1949
-He didn’t have any children. All 6 grandkids of Frank are accounted for
-If he did indeed die early, it was probably in Racine Wisconsin
-I don’t know his middle name, but I have a hunch it’s Peter
That’s all I’ve got. I figured id kick it to this sub again because this community is way better at tracking people down than I am. I’d like to go hunting for death records but you need to know someone’s death date to get a Wisconsin death record. He obviously has no grave on findagrave for some reason
