New to Vancouver but still low-key trapped

Hi there. New to Vancouver kinda almost by Camas.

I know people can sit on older vehicles they are trying to donate to get life out of them.

I’m just finding it rather difficult to live an independent life 3 miles from a bus stop.
Was wondering if there was a beater vehicle that someone has on their yard that I could give
Another couple
Doesn’t have to be looking incredible. I’m a 30 year old that would be so thankful to be able to drive to doctors appointments and to be able to go to in person classes at the community college again.

I’m able to do most regular car maintenance myself.

In lieu of a tax write off, I can volunteer my time to donors local choice of a charity (ex: I’ll work for $12/hr and I’ll work off the KBB value of whatever you donate).

Again. I can’t help with the write off but I will write a thank you card detailing the previous info.

And like. All of my future Christmas cards and postcards from future travels.

Beggars can’t be choosers obviously, but if we were making wishes. My wish would be for whatever you wanted to donate to me to not need much more than regular maintenance.
