Art is *absolutely* dead in AdDU
When I was entering senior high I’ve heard a lot of great things about the art scene in AdDU and I was hella excited to join something but a year has passed in college and all I’ve seen are some random aah events and random speakership akin to my old school where everything is just for academic purposes and pabango lang sa mga teachers like kudos to all the student organizers who are working behind all the events but idk who is in charge of the art scene in the school, it’s absolutely hollow and dead, and even the students that are a part of these supposed art events are not super amused of what they’re doing.
The art classes are hit or miss, orgs are just resume fodder although some orgs are great, but not nearly enough, singing and dancing are only found in small events and usually ma feel nila na pang intermission lang sila coming from the performers themselves no less, no digital or visual art like photog sana or even filmers, and even the teachers themselves say there is little going on in the school’s art scene like bruh wake up i will deadass transfer lol this is not what I signed up for and sure ako na not me lang ang ganto din ang ma feel
