i've tried using the usb c cable (with the power connected of the 3 in 1) but it just doesn't work

it seems like it needs samsung dex to connect it but i can't find that in my phone's (A35) settings and from a samsung article it looks like it was discontinued?

worth noting that for a brief moment it connected as a physical keyboard (???) and let me use it as a mouse but the display didn't change and i haven't been able to make it do that again since
