Memory’s probably the biggest issue with AI Girlfriends apps. Traditional Chatbots are limited by their context windows and are phisically unable to store much information there.
In 2026 a solution came finally through but it requires a different infrastructure as it involves agentic capabilities. What happens is an agent Who stores every fact or memory and assign them a score based on relevance, the bot maintains in its context just the important ones while the others sits in an archive. When needed the bot can browse the archive and find everything. So basically we achieved unlimited memory!
For what I know Clawra AI is the only app using that thing right now, do you know of any alternative?
