Very Hard Uesegi campaign Tips
Hello, I have been going back to older total war titles trying to knock some of these campaigns I never did or wasn't able to do. I just did Date and Otomo. So now it's on to the one I have been preparing myself for, Uesegi. From what I have been trying to think, there seems to be 3 ways to focus my start of the campaign:
go the traditional way, war with Jinbo and then deal with the takeda/Hojo/Imagawa trio.
abandon the vassal, rush sado then go toward fukushima and then sweep down toward takeda and Hojo.
is more of a hair brain idea, but what if I stayed north/moved west and tried to put the ikko ikki out before they get out of control.
My big questions are: is the knock against diplomatic relations and lower honor worth not joining the war against takeda? The question, I haven't used the warrior monk units before; where do I want to build my warrior monks, bow warrior monks? The shrine for experience or smiths/fletchers like usual samurai units?
Thank you for any advice or any other ideas for this campaign you have.
