Offense looked awesome today. Sure, we lost our momentum past that bad 4th, but we are hitting home runs again finally! Webb is not looking good to start this year, and of course he’s a problem to address, but it does not warrant any trade talk. In fact, a lot of you talk “trade him” or “trade him” at the deadline when all our players will be able to play a big role once performing. Obviously some players need to sit a little bit and gain their footing, but we have to trust in these PROFESSIONAL ballplayers to make it through. I mean, Webb was incredibly bummed out and took full responsibility for the loss today, showing how he cares. Nobody on the team is here just for the paycheck. They want to win, and they’ve visibly shown the effort they’re trying to put in. So lets trust this effort.
