



Followed a recipe in a Mediterranean Diet cookbook I have, so the crumb base was made with whole wheat flour and yogurt, and honey in the custard.
These look good, but are a complete fail. I followed Cecilia Tolone’s recipe, but the dough nearly killed my Kitchenaid mixer even after taking out half the dough. On top of that I think my yeast must’ve be expired because these just would not proof despite ideal conditions in my kitchen. All in all, a total waste of a morning/afternoon baking to end up with pretty looking but tough and chewy buns. Oh well! On to other bakes 🤦🏻♀️
