HS- Troponin I Detectable

Hi,

33M.

Hopefully a quick one for you all. Last year I had what I believe, in hindsight, to be a panic attack randomly upon waking up one morning. Visited ER and had the works done:

- ECG upon entry sinus tachy

- Blood test 1-hour after admittance, HS-Trop I @ < 3 ng/L (upper limit 18)

- Repeat blood test at 3-hour, HS-Trop I @ 12 ng/L (still below upper limit)

- Repeat blood test at 5-hour mark @ 14ng/L which resulted in delta of 2

- According to the hospital triggered a cardiology consult and I had a subsequent CT angiogram which was completely unremarkable.

- All subsequent ECGs normal.

Despite being reassured that I was not / did not have a heart attack, I have been wondering since that day on the rise in HS-Trop level. My only note was that I had sustained sinus tachy (>100 bpm) for a few hours while resting at the ER.

Can the rise in HS Trop be explained by a mere panic attack that triggered a sustained sinus tachy episode?

This thought has been bugging me for over a year now. Any thoughts appreciated.

The guy that called 140 pin was right lol.

The stock closed above 140 by pennies but my weekly 140c got burned..and this exact situation has been happening for weeks on end. Am I so lucky that every time I pick a strike on weeklies that the price hits exactly that or slightly below by the end and the calls pretty much go worthless?

I agree with that guy...very rigged game. No wonder some people feel that price action is personal sometimes.

Meh, better luck next week.

Hi,

Second opinion(s) appreciated.

I will preface this with the fact that I am admittedly a little more health anxious than not, particularly cardiac related.

There are days where I feel every heart beat easily, something I can only describe that is similar to a "binding pulse" sensation BUT my heart is NOT pounding fast or hard enough. For moments as long as I "internally focus," I can feel every beat "echo throughout my body", even at rest with a below-60 bpm heart rate. It's not a strong pulsing sensation, but I can feel it nonetheless.

As soon as I "fall into my own mind" / "zone out in thought" - at any moment in the day this can happen. I could be lying in bed supine, I could be sitting in my chair hunched over the computer... and the above will still be true on most days, multiple times throughout the day.

Second opinions? Is it hypersensitivity? Anxiety-related? It's like heart palpitations but without tachycardia.

Clear CT angiogram, clear Echo, clear ECG, clear Stress Test. No other medications other than "as needed" propranolol which I rarely use. Blood pressure normal.
