Gifting rosaries?
So I’ll be going out of town to visit a group of friends and there’s a few of the group that I’ve got vibes of Christian faith, we’ve never really touched the topic of Catholicism though. I know the area they’re in there is definitely a decent amount of Catholics though.
I’ve been thinking about surprising/gifting those few a rosary each. Even if they happen to be Protestant, I’m sure they would be gracious and at least take it as a gift of my culture. Part of me hopes maybe it could augment their prayer life in a way they never really thought about.
My question is this, would it be a good or bad idea to have the rosaries blessed? Good side I mean a blessing is never a bad thing. I’m just worried if the rosaries not being respected or if they ever break that they wouldn’t dispose of them correctly. Thoughts?
