I typed in my typewriter perfectly up until this Sunday. I’ve been using it for like 3 years now, recently the letter A has started to act up! It won’t go down after striking. Today the same has begun with the letter X—I know this was not the case Sunday, as I typed Roman numerals.

This is a Sears Tower, citation 88. I cleaned the wholes following a YouTube video, the method didn’t seem to work because the A is still yet to work.

I checked the bottom for any possibly folded keys and it all appears to be good, anyone have an idea on what this might be caused by?
