What’s your favorite Tim Burton production material you currently own?

My absolute favorites are a set of Polaroids (around 10-20) of Jack and Sally within some pretty iconic shots. They weren’t just casually taken Polaroids, they were used for a reason (for example, during tests they’d take a Polaroid to save the position). Super cool to see Jack and Sally “on the job” haha

I also really like my corpse bride animation bible since it gives background information on how every character works. And I have a set of sheets of Tim Burton notes that he made on corpse bride (his full notes on a revision of a script). It’s really cool to see how he thinks and how the process works

The rest of my production material are neat to have, but don’t resonate with me as much as the ones listed here

How about you guys?

This is a part of my collection, one of few “Animation Bibles” used for the film Corpse Bride. These would be made for animators to reference, and contain information about all characters and how to animate them. As well as images of their armatures, and how they function (it’s a bit like a watch when it comes to the technology). There are roughly 120 pages of really cool background information in this binder. Super cool stuff! Thought I’d briefly share since I know some people here may find this neat. Bonus second image, some of Tim Burton’s notes given with a revision of the script. Pretty cool to see the process
