Hi,
I booked a cruise two weeks ago that's due to sail in a few weeks time for three friends and I - we booked two cabins with a lock-it-in rate. I booked during the semi-annual sale so same price for both sailors, it is not one of those rates whereby the second sailor is 70% off or anything.
I am the lead guest on one cabin but unlikely to be able to go now due to unforeseen circumstances 😭
I'm aware the rate I booked is non-refundable and non-transferable, and i'm not concerned about that as i've bigger worries now.
But I am anxious that me not turning up may impact negatively on the friend who is sharing my cabin.
I have tried looking online for answers but have not gained any clarity on the matter. I will phone Sailor Services to check but thought some of you on here might have insights?
Does anyone have any advice or info? I'm hoping I am just over-thinking this, and it'll simply be the case that my friend will board and have a cabin to herself.
