Hello, i'm mainly doing photography but willing to learn video too with a "basic" setup, and for that i'm looking at the fujifilm radiator fan, a smallrig+left handle, and a dummy battery (alvin's cable)+battery pack vm-vp1 from zgcine with IN-port (cause if i can use it for "studio" photography and unlimited battery, as the xh-2 is unable to be on and charging at the same time).

BUT, cause there is always a but, i saw a lot of video setup that use a tripod+rod setup for mounting v battery, and i would like to keep my setup "mobile" (not too bulky) so is it possible to mount the vm-vp1 (or an alternative) onto the smallrig directly, or am i forced to use rod?

Sorry if it's a stupid question, but as i said i know only photography for now...
