Building a new adjustable tufting frame in my tiny chaotic garage 🔨🧶

Needed something bigger, sturdier, and easier to adjust for different rug sizes — so naturally I decided to build it myself with barely any space left to stand 😅

Slowly upgrading the workshop one project at a time.

Just finished this rug and honestly I’m pretty happy with how it turned out 🧶

Been trying to improve cleaner lines, color separation, and overall detail lately — especially on more complicated designs. Definitely still learning, but each rug gets a little better.

I also built a tool called Tuftify to help turn images into tuft-ready stencil patterns because manually simplifying designs was driving me insane 😅

Shaving and carving really make a huge difference.

tuftify.cc is an app where you can upload images and create a simplified version to get to the fun tufting part faster.
plenty of options such as colour by number, grids, colour amount control, amount of detail, and colour merger to help get rid of unwanted backgrounds.
