Alternator changed in September of 2025, New serpentine belt put on Thursday

My car started making some belt noise about a week ago. (Sort of a mid pitched squeal, almost like a cricket at times) definitely noticeable at idle, and acceleration, not too bad otherwise. Changed the belt Thursday - whereas the noise did dampen a bit, it does still persist. Just wondering what my next steps could possibly be, as I don’t want to waste more money than necessary.. newer alternator, brand new belt, just at a bit of a loss. Thank you all.
