Hello! New here. I am currently waiting for my LEEP appointment on May 26th, 2026. I am doing it in the OR - so I can be knocked out. I am wanting a hysterectomy - because of other issues that I have, but just so happened I had my pap and came back with HPV 16 and all of my biopsies came back CIN3. I did ask why I couldn't go straight to hysterectomy because that is what the plan was anyway - and she had said they needed to do the LEEP and see the results before moving forward with a Hysterectomy because if there is any cancer - they need to know that it is not in my lymph nodes or anything else that would need to be removed during the hysterectomy. I know I will have to wait the 10 days after to get the results from this.
I was curious if anyone else that has had a hysterectomy after their LEEP - how long did you have to wait to do this? What was the process? I guess I'm just curious on the process of everything. It's driving me crazy - everything has been hurry hurry hurry - wait wait wait - and I can't really get clear answers on a timeline of things. Assuming that things are OK after LEEP.
