Finally got to test out my 24 Street Glide in the wind this weekend. Came back from Vegas to face 20-30mph winds all the way back to LA.
Literally 0, and I mean 0 wind input on the fairing, bars, or bike. I rode hands off a few times to test it. I was expecting a battle on my way back. This thing rode just as it did on the way out there with no wind at all.
Its just super funny because I kid you not. Friday my co worker who owns a low rider ST told me “youre going to want to sell my bike after this weekend for a fixed fairing. The SG are sails with wind.”
And last night my buddy who owns a RG told me I should wait an extra day to wait out wind. SG’s hate the wind. Which is why he bought his RG Instead of the street.
Glad to see this is not the case. I was honestly surprised my self. I expected some movement and effects. But I felt nothing outside the bike it self slightly off tracking left or right. But nothing from the fairing or front end design it self. What you see in the video is the “push” on the bike from the wind.
