Whats the best ticket for non-red-seal in Canada?

My career path has been very silly so I'll try to explain it simply as I can.

I bought a mini forge in 2016 . Made some knives and garden decor. Wasn't anything special, but i learned that I liked working with metal.

Went to welding school. Got a 4G stick ticket and 1G TIG ticket.

Quit working in 12 volt electronics (did that for 7 years). Got a job in a mid sized machine shop as a fabricator. Did lots of welding/fabrication and machining.

4 years later, I moved to BC. Got into custom fab. Did 4 more years there. Learned to TIG really well. Good with SS and aluminum. Got better at fab all around.

Shop wage capped out at $30/hour

Started looking for unions that do custom fab. Found sheet metal workers has some high end - dope ass fab shops in the province. Joined the union.

Been stuck doing HVAC since June.

Sure it's interesting to learn something totally different but there's no shot i make a career out of this.

There is one fab shop local to me that I want to get into but they are too slow to hire me right now.

Anyways, I'm doing school currently for my level one of the apprenticeship. The college seems like an ideal time and place for me to renew my expired welding tickets. I want to get some current tickets back on my resume to make myself more indispensable for a fab shop.

AFAIK 6G is kind of like the best ticket you can get without having a red seal, but that's what this post is for.

Is there anything more specialized i could get to make my resume look awesome?

It really sucks that you need a red seal to get a pressure ticket. I just found that out today.

Ok so hopefully that isn't way too long winded.

Give me some input please oh wise ones.

'91 rwd single cab with ka24.

I finally went ahead and calculated the fuel mileage. Plugs and coils are pretty new. Timing was done in the last 6 months. I'm gonna try looking at the o2 sensor and the coolant temp sensor. What else should I look at?

The gas prices are forcing me to actually get to the bottom of this.
