Warranty company won't pay claim on my vechicle
Looking for some advice. I purchased a vechicle and added a 100K bumper to bumper warranty with the financing. Had no issues at 87K miles until the alternator went out. Towed to the mechanic and warranty company approved and vechicle was repaired. Warranty company wants the invoices to verify OEM parts and for extended warranty incase parts fail and they need to replace. Mechanic produced a "quote only" invoice and warranty company will not accept. I've been getting the runaround from the shop and the warranty company for three days now. I'm a trust but verify type and called the parts company and mechanic did not purchase parts from the dealership as quoted. I have no idea where the parts came from and he won't produce a fully paid invoice as the warranty company requested so they can pay him. He also won't release my vechicle until he is paid. Which the warranty company won't do until he submits a proper paperwork. I'm consider legal action at this point as I shouldn't be stuck with a 1347.00 bill because neither party will give on the issue. Anyone have any advice or experience?
