Hey yall, new to the mini family, i got a 2008 Base model
Ive reading all about the problems this car have, and i got it from a family member, he knows about cars, so im not too worried about the car needed maintenance, regardless of that, i will go tomorrow to the dealer to get a maintenance routine. What are services, things i should check out or be aware of? I know the basic about cars, and the oil consumption this gen has. Im aware of issues like the timing chain, the gasket cover needs changing cuz its leaking, the only issue ive really seen is the transmission, seems to be rough on 1-2nd but after it warms up its like nothing, also im unsure if its because im babying the car alot, seems like these cars like to be up on the RPM, so yeah any info would be appreciate it.
