In my years wearing cowboy boots, I have found that the single most important part, as far as wear and durability goes, is a thick, all leather heel counter. I know this might be specific to how I walk and my feet, but I've found that other cut corners are generally forgivable, if the heel counter holds up.
Would you agree?
That being said, looking to get a list of brands that for sure use quality leather heel counters, no synthetics or anything.
