(Ultra Time) Omega Aqua Terra 38mm VSF
Just received my VSF Aqua Terra 38mm. First of all this watch is beautiful and the size is just perfect. The 41 would be way too big so I'm pretty satisfied with that. Let's see what downside I've found.
I don't know how the date is supposed to behave but I think it jump way too early to the next day and I heard that this model is supposed is jump at midnight. Let's talk about the bracelet. I never got my hand on the Gen bracket but I think it's the weak point of this. There's nothing egregious but I don't feel a premium bracelet in h hand. For comparaison I have an aqua Terra hommage from San Martin and the bracelet is 10x better same for Ixdao. The edges are not that sharp but you can still feel some of it. The sizing is a damn nightmare with the double screw system. The clasp have a little gap when closed and it move a little bit.
I've seen this issue on other posts about this model. The little bulge is when the clasp is closed on the wrist is annoying and noticeable when you wear the watch. To sum it up the watch is beautiful but the bracelet would give it as a fake watch immediately if somebody who knows omega get his hand on it. I would like to know if it's a true VSF if somebody know how to be sure. Thanks if you read all this!
